Parks runs a fraudulent "ministry" and "charity," that he calls ETC Ministries, last known to be operated from his residence in Duluth, as well as unlicensed businesses AtlantaMAXPhoto, Fotos by Ken and Ansisoft. Since 2000, Parks has been consumed with stalking, harassing, and threatening numerous people, including those in his own family, via web sites, chatrooms, e-mail and regular mail. Parks falsely claims he has won all of his pro se (without an attorney) lawsuits against his victims, when in fact the documentation shows he has actually lost his lawsuits.
Ken Parks and Bruce Murch
Ken Parks and Bruce Murch have known each other since the late 1970s before either one of them became involved in Calvin Simmons' Fortress Church (also known as the Calvin Simmons Evangelistic Association). Bruce Murch was not involved very long in Calvin Simmons' Fortress Church in Lawrenceville, Georgia; he quickly exited that "church" when he witnessed abusive and controlling cult-like characteristics. Bruce Murch was one of the people who warned Parks in the late 1970s and early 1980s not to involve himself and his new wife in Simmons' Fortress cult, but Parks refused to listen to Murch or to anyone else who tried to reason with him. After several years, Parks only became disenchanted with Calvin Simmons and his Fortress Church when Simmons and others refused to allow Parks into their inner circle of leaders, a goal Parks had told others he had from the onset of joining Simmons' cult. Sometime after 2000, Parks contacted Bruce Murch after many years of no contact for the purpose of supporting Murch's anti-abortion demonstrations.
Bruce Murch has stated that while he himself would never kill abortion doctors, and nor would he ever encourage anyone else to do so, he has stated that he believes that others who have killed abortion doctors have been justified in their actions. Ken Parks accuses Scott and Paulette Buchanan of being supportive of Bruce Murch and he has called the Buchanans terrorists who are supportive of murdering abortion doctors and blowing up abortion clinics. Parks also accuses Mrs. Buchanan of being convicted in Connecticut for the crime of child abuse against his children (see Connecticut's Dept. of Children and Families documentation that there is no record of complaint, investigation, arrest or conviction for child abuse against Paulette Buchanan). PARKS' ACCUSATIONS ARE ABSOLUTELY AND UNEQUIVOCALLY FALSE.
Scott and Paulette have very clearly informed Murch that they are NOT in agreement with him on the issue of others killing abortion doctors. The few instances of contact that Scott and Paulette Buchanan have had with Bruce Murch have been only for the purpose of obtaining any additional evidence of Ken Parks' hacking and other harassing behavior against Murch and others, including others who likewise disagree with Murch's viewpoint that there is justification for killing abortion doctors. The Buchanans have also obtained documentation from Parks' other victims who are possibly pro-abortion, but being in contact with those people for the purpose of obtaining documentation does not make the Buchanans pro-abortion. Plainly put, the Buchanans believe that it is not right to kill abortion providers or others who are pro-abortion for the same reason that it is not right to kill unborn children.
On Murch's Full Quiver forum, Eric Eggleton's now defunct Spiritfx forum, and on other similar forums, there has been disagreement with Murch by others who are pro-life and who have stated that Paul Hill was clearly wrong to take the life of the abortion doctor and his driver. Yet Ken Parks, in both his kenfactor and ETC Ministries websites and on various chat forums -- including Parks' posts on Bruce Murch's Full Quiver Forum and his nearly 2,500 posts on Eric Eggleton's Spiritfx forum -- has repeatedly ignored this fact and baselessly accused seemingly all pro-life people, including Scott and Paulette Buchanan, of being killers of abortion doctors or supporters of those who have killed abortion doctors. Some of the people Parks names on his websites and on chat forums may even be pro-abortion, and yet bizarrely enough Parks still calls them anti-abortion terrorists and supporters of Bruce Murch.
As much as the Buchanans and other pro-life supporters strongly disagree with Bruce Murch and others who share his viewpoint on Paul Hill, they still pray for Murch's wife who has struggled with cancer and other health issues. The Buchanans and others would pray for the Murch family's health matters even if they were liberal and supportive of abortion for the simple reason that prayer for others is simply the right thing to do.
In stark contrast, Ken Parks has viciously ridiculed Mrs. Murch on the Internet regarding her diagnosis of cancer. Parks has lashed out obsessively and with cruelty on the Internet, praying apparently to Satan to attack people and even children who are in pro-life families. Ken Parks, the self-professed "ministry leader" and "teacher of the word" has shown the depths of his hateful hypocrisy -- he has demonstrated an abominable lack of even the most basic human compassion. The act of ridiculing via the Internet or in any other way a person who has cancer is just as offensive as the killing of abortion doctors -- both denigrate life. Parks has also deceitfully portrayed himself as pro-life to some individuals and pro-abortion to other individuals on chat forums.
If Parks is so much against violence like he claims to be, then he has a lot of explaining to do when it comes to "justifying" his own witnessed and documented violence against his ex-wife, his children, a female neighbor, his sister, and apparently a past girlfriend he dated when he lived in Florida. "All cruelty springs from weakness," as Seneca wrote.
Ken Parks has a reputation of obsessively criticizing everyone, especially fraudulent or at least very questionable televangelists. But given Parks' own criminal records of violence against women and his current fugitive-status arrest warrant for harassment against another woman, and given the fact of his own fraudulent one-man ETC Ministries (which is not registered with the IRS nor with the state of Georgia), Parks has clearly disqualified himself as a critic of other religious frauds. For Parks to criticize other religious charlatans is a bit like the Unabomber Ted Kaczyncski criticizing serial killer Ted Bundy. Parks is so fixated on pointing out other people's sins, real or contrived, that he still has not realized that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. The Buchanans and others continue to pray to God (in contrast to Parks apparently praying to Satan) that Parks would face the truth about himself, come to his senses, and stop wasting the gift of life on his decades-old hateful, violent, libelous, and unjustified attacks against others.
The FBI and the IRS have documentation on Parks for a variety of legal concerns and he has been warned by the FBI that he is "dangerously close" to being arrested. In short, the FBI has assured the Buchanans that they are "keeping an eye on Parks." At no point in time has the FBI, the IRS, or any other authorities told the Buchanans to stop reporting documented evidence against Parks, and never have they been told that they are harassing Parks; rather, they have been keeping an ongoing record of their complaints and the complaints of others whom Parks is harassing and libeling. Ken Parks has repeatedly and obsessively accused Scott and Paulette Buchanan of filing false statements against him to the police and to the FBI. In reality, ALL of the documentation provided to the police and to the FBI in Connecticut and in Georgia has been of KEN PARKS' OWN WRITINGS. Based on this evidence, the fugitive status arrest warrant for harassment was issued by Connecticut authorities. Based on the same and additional evidence, the FBI investigated, warned, and has kept record of Ken Parks harassing, libelous and threatening activities.
