I am convinced that the Bible will have men dream dreams about the things to come right before the end-times. God has used the most common of people to convey his Kingdom and baffle the wise. |

David was king of Judah and Israel from circa 1004-970 BCE. He
became well known for courage, exemplified by his victorious
encounter with the Philistine giant Goliath.
He employed a slave to free Israel from Egypt. Saul, the first Israel king was left handed and considered weak. David was a poor little shepard boy who slew the fearsome Goliath and eventually became ruler of Israel. A lowly fisherman was given the keys to the church. And, God even used a donkey to speak. And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. --- Joel 2:28- 31 Ken had a dream concerning a castostophic event and suspects that this may be some sort of prophetic vision. His dream is detailed as follows: "In my dream, I was laying asleep on my couch in the living room. I awoke to the presence of a bright light that illuminated from the outside sky. It remained bright for about 6 seconds, completely blinding me. I rolled off the couch and fell to the floor, covering my eyes with my hands, but the light penetrated my hands and closed eyelids. The whiteness blurred my vision of everything in the room. I realized what was going to happen next. I held my breath in silence and anticipated the inevitable. Remaining sheltered on the floor, the entire house rattled from a series of high speed winds. I could hear the the leaves and branches of the trees and other miscellanious items striking the house. Then, there was an strange calmness followed by a deafening crackling noise, the sound of a sonic boom. I cupped my hands over my ears. But, the sound penetrated every part of my body. Then... there was silence and darkness.

I looked outside from the living room window and saw that the front lawn grass was littered with small patches of fire from the debris. The sky was pitch black. I grabbed a garden hose and quickly applied a spray of water to the small and scattered flames. The other homes in the neighborhood were left standing in scattered and smoldering rubble of leaves, branches and broken roof tiles. Like snowflakes, ash fell slowly to the earth, covering everything. And, the smell of smoldering materials and burning could not be erased. The gray ash seemed to accumulate and become adhesive to the sides of houses and everything else. I turned the TV on and nothing but static. The car radio produced the same sound regardless of the tuned frequencies.

Ken's dream revealed this view across the river toward Merritt
Island, a river with no bridges and stilled by the devastation.
The island was no longer inhabited, no trees, no buildings, void
of any evidence of life.
The day had advanced into sunlight and the devastation could be seen for miles. Everything was covered in a combination of a light gray and a mixed black ash… everything. The trees were left standing with no leaves. There were no birds. The silence left me awestruck. Like so many other curious onlookers I walked toward the area where devastation had been climatic. Beyond the temporary wired fences and red tied markers, I can see only a flat land of sand… what used to be Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center. The dream had ended. |

06/19/2002 - Updated every month What Ken had Predicted KISSIMMEE, FL (KP) — The tragic events of September 11, 2001 was known by Ken through premonitions. Ken had made his prediction known to fellow co-workers two weeks prior to the inident. "A fellow worker and I were chatting about the problems we have with terrorists, and I told him that with all the advancements we have made with missile defence systems, it's not going to do any good. Terrorist will attack the U.S. by the use of an airplane, such as a small aircraft. And, they will bomb a major city such as New York or Washington D.C." Minutes before the first airplane struck the World Trade Center, Ken had sent an e-mail to Dino, his Italian buddy, and stated that the terrorists will most likely target major U.S. ciites such as New York or Washington D.C. with an airplane. Dino considered it a coincident. At 8:45 a.m. on that dreadful morning, American Ailines Flight 11, hijacked by terrorists, slammed into the north tower of the World Trade Center. A second hijacked airliner, United Airlines Flight 175, struck the south tower. A third hyjacked airliner, American Airlines Flight 77, rammed the Pentagon, and United Airlines Flight plummeted in Somerset Couonty, Pennsylvania. When the attacks were announced on the radio at work, Ken, along with everyone else, was astonished. One co-worker stated, "Well Ken, your prediction came true!" Ken gave him a stern stare as if to declare that he had nothing to do with the planned terrorist attacks. Ken recognizes that prophecy and having futuristic dreams are not very popular, even amoung Christians. "I find myself biting my lips after the predicted September 11 attacks. Most people think that my premonitions are coincidental and a fluke. There are things that I have envisioned that I keep to myself, and simply warn others by being spiritually prepared. The day will come that many will not be prepared... and then there will be a great falling away from the Christian faith." |
